Ethical freight – it’s a movement

Our ethical approach to the freight and logistics business.

As a values based business, we put ethics above everything. Ethics guide our policies and our decision-making. They are the foundation of the business and the cornerstone of sustainability as an enterprise reliant on the support of its people, the goodwill of customers, the confidence of the community and its care for the environment.

We’ve adopted these principles not simply because of their own merit, but because we believe they will make us a better and more successful company.

As an aspiring B-Corp, we actively promote our ethical approach to stakeholders and suppliers, working with them to encourage change in the freight and logistics industry.

Five ways we’re making a difference

Carbon Neutral Business

EXIM is certified carbon neutral by Carbon Neutral Britain.

We believe it’s vital that all businesses try to find a way to reduce or remove carbon from their operations or consider ways to offset their carbon emissions through programmes like the UN Framework on Climate Change, the Verified Carbon Standard and Gold Standard for the Global Goals.

We met all Carbon Neutral Britain Certification standards in measuring, calculating and carbon offsetting organisational carbon emissions within the Scope 1, 2 and 3 GHG emissions boundary during the period of 1st July 2022 to 30th June 2023.

Our emissions total for the year was 28.34 tonnes of CO2e, offset via the Woodland Fund Portfolio of verified carbon offsetting projects around the world.

We have used Exim Solutions for a majority of our UK and international shipments since 2009 and always found them to be a most helpful and conscientious company.
C. Stanley, Operations Manager
We only started exporting after being introduced to Exim Solutions. We had looked into it before but our company is quite young and it seemed like there were a lot of hoops to jump through.
A. Coalfield, Purchasing Department
We use Exim for our shipments globally, including movement of hazardous. They have always been unfazed by things that are out of the ordinary and have also been able to offer me hazardous packing services for my airfreight business.
