No business is ever entirely divorced from its communities, but some make it a happier relationship
We believe our responsibility to our community goes beyond being a good employer and a nice place to work. While those things help, we do more through volunteering and sponsorship to invest in the strength and health of the communities in which we work.
Brave Futures
Brave Futures is a specialist support service for children and young people in Norfolk and Suffolk who have experienced sexual abuse. It provides a safe and supportive place for to make sense of the confusion they feel. Through listening and consultation it gives them the support they need to re-build their lives, process the trauma they have experienced and face the future with confidence.
EXIM and Brave Futures
Like every charity, Brave Futures needs all the help it can get—but it has a hard time getting it.
We chose to work with Brave Futures because it was a difficult choice. That is, the subject matter is one people don’t want to think about let alone talk about. And because it is so difficult, as a charity it really struggles to win corporate supporters.
We support and sponsor events, volunteer staff time, and run individual fundraising activities.
Community sports sponsorship
We’ve got more than our share of fanatical sporty types among our company so it was natural we’d support local sporting teams.
We currently provide football sponsorship to:
Kesgrave Kestrels
Boys under 15s
Needham Market Phoenix
Boys under 7s
Coplestonians
Boys under 14s
Needham Phoenix
Girls under 14s
We only started exporting after being introduced to Exim Solutions. We had looked into it before but our company is quite young and it seemed like there were a lot of hoops to jump through.
A. Coalfield, Purchasing Department
We use Exim for our shipments globally, including movement of hazardous. They have always been unfazed by things that are out of the ordinary and have also been able to offer me hazardous packing services for my airfreight business.
S. Kiln, Warehouse Manager
We have used Exim Solutions for a majority of our UK and international shipments since 2009 and always found them to be a most helpful and conscientious company.
C. Stanley, Operations Manager
